Kerry was a fantastic mom and now it is her turn to find her forever home. She gave birth to five beautiful puppies at a high kill shelter and PRBJ rescued them. Kerry is a fence jumper so she would need to be watched when outside. She is almost housetrained and gets along with all dogs. Feb. 2, 2018 DOG 4 A DAY UPDATE:
We took Kerry out for Dog For A Day. She was an absolute sweetheart who is calm, gentle, loving and patient. I never heard her bark once. We spent a little time at our house where Kerry quickly became comfortable, relaxing with the kids, exploring and napping. She loves to lay on her back and especially loves when she's hugged. She was amazing with my kids, ages 10-12. Kerry was very calm in the car, she just sat and looked out the window. We took her for a walk at a park and she did really well on the leash. We stopped for some ice cream, which by the way, she LOVES vanilla ice cream. Several people came over to pet her and she was happy for the attention. We browsed at the pet store where again, Kerry was a rock star. I hope she gets adopted soon, we had a really hard time saying good bye to her and it was only for a few hours! She'll do great in any setting. Kerry is a super calm, happy companion.
